Ronald Karovo has been SINPF's Manager Human Resource and Corporate Services since December 2022. He joined the Fund in 2016 as Assistant Manager Human Resource and served as Assistant Manager Human Resource and Corporate Service from 2018 to 2022.

Ronald brings nearly two decades of experience in public sector management, training and human resource development. Before SINPF he spent close to ten years at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) in the Ministry of Public Service, progressing from Chief Trainer to Coordinator of Management and Administration Programs, Manager of Program Planning and Coordination, Deputy Director and Supervising Director. He served on national working groups including the SIG HRM Strategy Working Group, the Human Resource Management Awards Committee and the Ministry of Public Service and Public Service Commission reorganisation task force, and chaired the Human Resource Development Task Force. He began his career teaching economics and commerce in Western Province.

At SINPF he chairs the Board Training Committee and is secretary to the Employee Welfare and Board Management committees; he previously chaired the Housing, Sports and Uniform committees. He is also a member of Solomon Finance Limited's HR and Strategic Sub-Committee and has been a Commissioner for Oaths of the High Court and Court of Appeal since 2023.

Ronald holds a Master of Public Management from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Arts in Management, Public Administration and Economics from the University of the South Pacific. His professional development includes Commonwealth Secretariat training in public sector reform, human capital metrics and analytics, and effective leadership. His personal aim is to be an instrument of change that empowers people to reach their potential.
