The voluntary retirement savings scheme for Informal Sector workers

Empowering Solomon Islanders to Save for Their Future

The Informal Sector Section – Employer Member Services plays a vital role in expanding financial inclusion and retirement savings opportunities for Solomon Islanders working outside the formal employment sector.

Led by the Assistant Manager – Informal Sector and based at the Anthony Saru Building, the Section is committed to helping self-employed individuals, market vendors, small business operators, casual workers, farmers, fishers, artisans, transport operators, and seasonal workers build greater financial security through accessible, flexible, and innovative savings solutions.

Through youSave, digital financial services, innovative financial products, strategic partnerships, financial literacy, and community outreach, the Section continues to extend SINPF services to Solomon Islanders who may not have access to traditional employment-based retirement savings arrangements.
